Why choose a ceramic coating?

Sticklers 4 Details offers several effective and affordable ceramic exterior coatings that provide the most consistent results for automotive paint. The hydrophobic properties in a ceramic coating create a protective shield that forces rain and water to bead up on the surface so it simply blows off or wipes off without leaving streaks or water spots.

A ceramic coatings is a permanent, durable glass shield that is like an additional clear coat to the exterior of your vehicle with 3x the efficiency and self-cleaning properties.

*Price is dependent upon size, type, and condition of the vehicle. Accurate estimates are provided after further visual evaluation from our detailing team.

**Vehicle is prepped with a chemical decontamination wash, clay bar treatment applied. This rate does not include paint correction. Since every vehicle is in different variable conditions, it would need a paint assessment to determine if it needs additional paint correction; this would be an additional cost if needed.

What does scratch resistance mean?

Scratch resistance means that regular scuffs from nails and purses tapping the paint won’t show as easily. This isn’t to be confused with “scratch proof”. That would imply that it’s impossible to scratch the coating. We cannot guarantee scratches won’t show on the vehicle after a coating has been applied.

Paint correction first

Because protective coatings seal in the beauty of your vehicle’s paint surface, all coating applications require a complete exterior paint correction prior to application, to remove any and all imperfections from the surface, including uneven paint, holograms, and fine scratches.
